FAQs
Your Questions, Answered.
SUCCEED Academy™ is a scholar identity model designed to support meaningful scholar development for both students and the educators who guide them. Rooted in the legacy and traditions of HBCUs, the model strengthens identity, leadership, accountability, and excellence across school and community settings.
SUCCEED™ programs are designed for scholars in grades 3–12 and are implemented through schools, youth organizations, after-school programs, and community partners that serve young people.
SUCCEED™ offers tiered development pathways aligned to scholars’ stages of growth, including Foundations of Excellence™ (Grades 3–5), Pathways of Excellence™ (Grades 6–8), and Standards of Excellence™ (Grades 9–12), as well as Leadership League™ experiences for middle and high school scholars.
SUCCEED™ is not curriculum-driven or lesson-based. It is a licensed, site-based model that integrates into existing structures while strengthening culture, shared language, expectations, and scholar identity through intentionally designed experiences inspired by HBCU traditions.
Partners implement SUCCEED™ through a licensing model that includes training, implementation guidance, and access to signature experiences. The model is designed to integrate into what schools and organizations already do during the school day, after school, or within community programs.
Program length varies by pathway and setting. Some experiences are implemented over defined cycles, while others are embedded throughout the school year. The structure remains consistent, while depth and delivery adapt to each site’s needs.

Yes. Partners receive training, implementation guidance, and ongoing support to ensure SUCCEED™ is implemented with consistency, integrity, and purpose.
The partnership process begins with an alignment conversation to understand your setting, goals, and scholar population. From there, partners receive onboarding, training, and access to SUCCEED Academy™ resources and signature experiences. Implementation is collaborative, structured, and designed to integrate seamlessly into your existing environment.
SUCCEED™ is intentionally adaptable. While the core identity model and expectations remain consistent, delivery can be tailored to fit different school-day structures, after-school programs, youth organizations, and community settings. The structure stays the same, the experience adjusts to your context.
