SUCCEED Academy™

SUCCEED Academy™

Everything we do is rooted in culture, community, and distinction.

SUCCEED Academy™ is a scholar identity framework designed to support meaningful scholar development for both students and the educators who guide them.

Rooted in the legacy and traditions of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), SUCCEED Academy™ helps scholars move beyond participation and toward ownership of their identity, leadership, and role within a larger community.

SUCCEED Academy™ is not a curriculum or a set of lessons.

It is a site-based, licensed framework that strengthens culture, alignment, and expectations by integrating into what schools and organizations already do.

Our HBCU-Inspired Foundation

For generations, HBCUs have done more than educate. They have cultivated identity, upheld standards, developed leaders, and created environments where scholars are known, challenged, and expected to rise.

SUCCEED Academy™ extends this tradition by embedding the core elements of HBCU culture; identity, accountability, earned leadership, recognition, and collective excellence into a scholar-centered development framework designed for grades 3–12.

Founder's Message

Okay, before I get started, let me say this.

I didn’t attend an HBCU. Not because I didn’t value them, but because I wasn’t exposed to them. I didn’t know what they represented or what that experience could offer me. I simply didn’t know.

As I’ve grown, I’ve come to understand that HBCUs do so much more than educate students. They create belonging. They affirm identity. They set a standard of excellence that stays with their students long after they leave campus.

That understanding is why SUCCEED exists.

I don’t believe our youth should have to wait until they’re older or until college to feel seen, connected, and confident in who they are. By then, we’re too late. Identity is already forming. Beliefs about what’s possible are already taking shape.

SUCCEED was created to give scholars that foundation early, so they can move through life with confidence, pride, and purpose no matter where their journey leads.

This work is for students who will attend college and for those who won’t. Everyone’s path matters. Every child deserves to experience culture, community, and excellence before the world tries to define them.

At SUCCEED, we call our students scholars on purpose. Not because of grades or background, but because language matters. When you speak expectation into children, they see themselves differently.

This work is personal to me. It’s about reaching kids early, loving them well, and surrounding them with a village that believes in them.

Because it truly takes a village to SUCCEED.
And if this resonates with you, I would be honored to have you be part of ours.
